PlantUML GitHub Action Fix - Complete! 🎉

Problem Summary

GitHub Actions was failing with the error:

Error: Unable to resolve action `cloudbees/plantuml-github-action`, repository not found

Root Cause: The cloudbees/plantuml-github-action GitHub Action doesn't exist or has been removed/moved.

Solution Implemented

Replaced Non-Existent Action with Direct Installation

Changed from:

1. Direct PlantUML Installation

  • File paths correct - Output goes to docs/images/
  • All diagram types - System, clean architecture, data flow, etc.

The workflow will now:

Workflow Triggers

The workflow runs when:

  • Push to main - With changes to .puml files or workflow
  • Pull requests - Show diagram previews in PR comments
  • Manual dispatch - Can be triggered manually from GitHub UI
